Head to head : 108th Aus v WI test match it was. Now, Australia have won 52, West Indies 32 with 1 tied and 23 draws.

End of day 1 : Australia 339/3 : As many as 36 overs bowled by a team like West Indies who are known for their fast bowlers and that too on a pitch called Perth, the fastest in world. Australian openers Shane Watson and Simon Katich added 132 runs for first wicket but both of them missed their century for second time running in the series. Ricky Ponting was retired hurt after being repeatedly hit but Kemar Roach but he'll resume his innings.

End of day 2 : West Indies 214/2 : Still no century from Australian side as Marcus North and Brad Haddin missed opportunity after Katich and Watson yesterday. Aussie captain Ricky Ponting didn't come back to bat but home team mounted a big total and he declared. Then, Chris Gayle scored the 6th fastest test match century, off just 72 balls to take visitors off to a rocket start.

End of day 3 : Australia 137/8 : As many as 16 wickets fell today, 8 from each side and at the end, Australians were 345 runs ahead with 2 second innings wickets remaining.

End of day 4 : West Indies 308/9 : chasing 359 after a splendid work from bowlers, West Indies nearly won this game with Denonarine and Nash partnership but are not looking straight into defeat by losing 5 wickets for only 85 runs.. now, they need 51 more run with last wicket standing with last day's play remaining.

End of match : Kemar Roach was given out and West Indies' last wicket heroics finished just few overs on 5th day, giving Australia a series win who had earlier secured the Frank-Worrell trophy.
