This is the record of invincibility folks, the record of most one day matches in a row without a defeat..And the uncrowned winners are Australia, who remained undefeated for 21 consecutive ODIs in year 2003 as you can see in following list, claiming world cup in process as well. In fact, Aussie cricket team features the most number of times which shows their work ethics and hunger for excellence.. something all other teams can take a lesson from. In following list, we've also listed the teams that brought unbeaten run to a halt, like West Indies did to Aussies in their 2003 campaign. Note that most one day wins in a row and most one day matches without a defeat are slightly different record but we at itsonlycricket believe players have no role in a match being rain abandoned and hence most wins in row haven't been mentioned.. just the undefeated reigns of a cricket team in one day Internationals over the years.
Update : Today, 3 March 2010, Australia's 14 match unbeaten run came to an end with 2 wkt loss to New Zealand in first game of Chappell-Hadlee trophy at Napier. also note that 4 other teams have remained unbeaten for 11 one day games, but they have to do more to enter above elite list.
