The last one day international that Team India plays against England in
India is on 15th of April at Indore. So with all possibilities,
 the
squad for the west Indies tour (Caribbean as it is also called) will be
announced in a few days after that..The bad thing about that squad will be that Indian team won't be having Sachin Tendulkar in the squad.Sachin is out of cricket for 8 weeks because of his sore shoulder and he will be flying to Australia to get the  treatment..As per the schedule of India's tour of west Indies, first one dayers will be played (till 28th of May) and then the test matches.. so one can expect Sachin Tendulkar to be fit and available for the test matches on the west Indies tour. Caribbean is the same place where the World Cup will be played in 2007 and thats why, this West Indies tour will be hugely important. This Indian tour of Caribbean country will more or less decide on the player who will be representing India in the coming world cup. Pitches in West Indies are quite slow with very little spin. But what those Caribbean pitches always had was bounce.. And a  s I write this,
today Indian team is having seam bowlers like Sreesanth, Irfan Pathan,
Munaf Patel, R P Singh, Agit Agarkar, Zaheer Khan, and a few more like
L Balaji and Ashish Nehra om comeback trail. I remember someone saying
that its not the pace of a bowler that does the trick on West Indies
pitches, but its the bowlers who have the ability to swing it. So India
can hope of having a good pace battery when they land into Caribbean
beaches..As a cricket fan, I suggest you try and get your ticket for this Caribbean tour as soon as possible as West Indies are known for its beautifu  l beaches (Probably the best beaches in the world) and that
combined with some great cricket between India and west Indies, you can
rarely ask for more fun!!I expect the tickets for the matches will be little less than what one has when Indian team plays in Australia and England as West Indies is a under developed country but the passion of cricket is lot more than those countries... And one last thing, if you like long and uncomfortable flights, this is your great chance as West Indies is probably at the longest distant country from India and one of the best places for holidays... come on - plan a trip, get your tickets, take a leave and N-JOY!!
