Four matches of this ODI series will be played on working days - 1st ODI on Tuesday, 3rd ODI on Monday, 4th ODI on Thrusday and 6th ODI on Wednesday. Super Subs in India vs England one day series -

Today, on 21st of March 2006, ICC has scrapped the super sub rule from one day cricket that they first introduced last year when England and Australia played the first ODI before the ashes series in 2005. It must be noted that this super sub rule had come under very hard response, specially from South Africa and Australia when they went into a ODI series at the start of March but decided not to use their super subs - the 12th player.
