Its been quite some years since a team beat Australians on their own ground. But make no mistakes, according to Mickey Arthur, South African coach they have overcome the "Shane Warne factor" and have the momentum.

He may be over estimation, but after six days of International cricket in Australia(including day1 for second test), they certainly aren't doing bad!!

As Boxing day started, Aussies made a bright start with Ponting scoring a thrilling century, after the debutant Phil Jaques got out cheaply. He showed no signs of being "Gilly the 2nd" as termed by steve waugh. Australians have a history of PRESENTING DEBUTANT'S rather than giving the a chance. Remember Bradd Haddin. He came with so many tags of being a great hitter. There were talks of him challenging Adam Gilchrist his keeping/batting slot. He failed to make even a half century. I also remember someone known, a Australian saying - "Unleash Tait". Well, we all wonder where this fast bowler gone, after the Ashes??

Back to the boxing day test match - Day1, Aussies were sitting pretty at 200 odd with 7 wickets remaining. Then came Andre Nel. He says - When crowd start talking to me, and people start putting me down, I just want to prove then wrong and I really fire up.

Its not tough to imagine his provoking activities as we saw his show just a months ago. I still remember my friends getting extremely happy when Pathan, after Gambhir hit him for sixes in the second ODI. And also gave him some of his words back. He is now presenting his show in Melbourne, and did some talking with the ball too, to reduce Australians to 239 for 8.

But Ricky Ponting says - "Our score is better than it looks". He may be correct. Australians are known for their fighting spirit and probably that's what makes them the world champions. But when was the last time they had to fight for a win.......at home!!
