New Zealand cricket grounds location map. Nothing gives more satisfaction to a New Zealander (cricketer or fan) than beating Australia but somehow, it very rarely happens..

Calling themselves the trans-tasman rivals, it's been almost 2 decades when New Zealand last beat Australia in a test match series, back in 1990, and that too was just a single match series which Kiwis won at home.

Come February 2010, Aussies will tour New Zealand for their first full tour in 5 years and will play a series of two Twenty20 Internationals, then Chappell-Haddlee series of 5 one day internationals and concluding the tour with Trans-Tasman Trophy that includes 2 test matches.

Why best of 2 tests? New Zealand cricket board indeed wanted to host an odd number of tests against their rival neighbours but by the end of March, Kiwiland will be in day-light savings and sunshine isn't long enough to play full 7 hours of a test match day. Moreover, there's Indian Premier League which players from both teams will miss in month of March and their cricket boards tilted to allow them join their franchise for the latter half of the chash cow tournament at least!

Since 1945 when Aussie cricket team first visited New Zealand, year 2010 will mark Australia's 10th tour of New Zealand. Overall, out of 48 tests between the two country, 24 have been won by Australia, 7 by New Zealand and 17 were draw. Talk 118 One day internationals ~ 81 went aussie way while only 32 have been won by Kiwis with no tied and 5 no results.

Note : Following New Zealand vs Australia schedule contains match start time according to 3 major country. It's not clear as of now which one day internationals will be played as day games or day-night. We've mentioned timings for day-night one day internationals (until we get accurate information). Tests and Twenty20 start timings are correct.
