1) After losing that "Greatest one day international" Australia now go into a 3 test match series with South Africa, starting today. It will be worth a watch as both the teams are very closely matched and the standard of cricket will be very high in this test series.

Ricky Ponting will be using new bat from this series on after ICC restricted him from playing the bad which supposedly had Graphite mixed with wood and gave undue advantage to Ponting.

The live telecast of this Australia vs South Africa test matches will be on Star Sports in India and the timing of the test matches are 1400hrs IST - for the first and third test. For the second test, the timing has been set 15 minutes early due to a chance of bad light later in the day.

Here is the schedule of Australia vs South Africa series.

2) Barmy Army, the die hard group of cricket fans from England are here in India, trying to back their team, who seems to lose the advantage after winning the toss at Mohali and managed to lose the test match....But cricket is not the only thing in their minds...Katie Cook, member, Barmy Army said - "When we were in Pakistan last year, we made donations to the earthquake relief and now that we're in India, we've decided that we're going to make donations to relief for the earthquake victims on this side of the border,"

All this while they continue to raise funds for Leukemia research back home.... seems like a very good group indeed. I wonder when India will have such a group of cricket fans!!

3) Pakistani coach Bob Woolmer has been asked to control his tongue as a few days back, he had said - “It's a disgrace. When you are on an international touring side wanting a centre wicket (for practices) and can't get one, it looks a little strange,”.

PCB officials however said that details sought from manager Zaheer Abbas had revealed that it was not such a big issue and the problem had arisen because of miscommunication. Here is more to the story..

4) Ashish Nehra, the left arm seamer, who was a very important part of Indian cricket team in the last World Cup, has expressed his feeling to do the same in the forth coming world cup as well, as he is fit and ready to make a come back into the Indian cricket team..

"After undergoing physiotherapy in Australia, I am fully fit now," Nehra told PTI. "I accept that injuries have taken a heavy toll on my career so I would present my fitness certificate to the Board only after I am fully fit." But one thing is to be cleared... is Nehra wanted by Indian team now a days when we already have Sreesanth and Munaf bowling so well... Lets wait and watch... till then, you read this if you are a Nehra fan.
