1) First it was Australian captain Ricky Ponting who wanted super sub rule to be done away with.. then South African captain - Greame Smith joined in. And now the latest - The ODI
series between the two countries started today and both the teams have
decided to not use their super subs. Which means that they will name a
super sub for every match, but will never use them. By this way, they
will keep the rules of international cricket intact, and also get what
they want....What do you think??
2) England have called for three replacements to their cricket team as they struggle to put together 11 fit players for the first test at Nagpur. Marcus Trescothick - vice captain of England cricket team and one of the most important batting pillars of them, returned home shortly after he got out in the match against board president eleven. The reason of Trescothick leaving this way is still not known. England A team is touring Caribbean right now and the probables are - Alastair Cook, the 21-year-old Essex opener.
