Second straight rain abadoned game at Manchester, this time without a ball bowled. Every time there's a rain abandoned cricket match, our minds recall the only indoor cricket stadium in the world = Colonial in Australia. sadly, it doesn't host no cricket games these days and there aren't others coming up..

England, since the begining of this week, woke up to heavy rain and it continued on Tuesday, the scheduled day for this second England vs Australia twenty20 International. note that first twenty20 at the same venue couple of days ago produced a no result as well, cause England chase of 145 was cut shot by showers!

This was the second straight washed out twenty20 game between England and Australia, whose head to head now reads 2 wins for Australia, 1 win for England and 2 no results.

Cause of a abandoned game was more of a wet patch on fast bowlers follow through than anything else. After heavy downpour for most of the day, Old Trafford outfield had suffered multiple soggy portions which, due to lack of sunshine, had to be considered unfit for International level cricket match.

A crowd of over sixteen thousand were left unentertained. most of them paid over 50 pounds per ticket, but returned empty handed!
