Only Mohinder Amarnath showed some resistance, remained unbeaten on 34 while Hasan Jamil (3/18), Sikander Bakht (2/11) and Saleem Altaf (2/7) finished Indian innings inside 34.2 overs.. Pakistan won the game by 8 wickets, with 139 balls remaining! Pakistan's lowest one day score against India came at their happiest hunting ground = Sharjah = 87, and it was a thriller of a match. Imran Khan's 6 wickets for just 14 runs in 10 overs finished Indians for only 125 runs but Pakistani batsman failed to chased that down. captain and new ball bowler, Kapil Dev, got 3 wickets while leg spinner L Shivramakrishnan and left arm spinner Ravi Shastri shared 2 wickets each to finish Pakistan for only 87 runs and won the game for India by 38 runs.
