Match Summary : Toss happened at the speculated time but since then, match got delayed and delayed due to reoccuring rains. Winning the toss, Windies innings got reduced from 50 overs to 41 overs to 36 overs down finally at 27 overs, out of which, they made respectable 185 for the loss of 7 wickets, thanks to strokeful innings from Ramnaresh Sarwan.

On a slow outfield, Indian batters had a job in their hand and they did it well. Openers Dinesh Karthik and Gautam Gambhir put on 84 run stand from first 12 overs which set thep platform. Captain Dhoni saw India home with a six in the last over off which visitors needed tricky 11 runs.
