1) Doordarshan has opted out of the race to have the telecast rights of matches that will be played in India. Doordarshan has made it clear that they are ready to share pictures with channels like espn-star, Zeesports and others. In return they are asking for 25 % of the revenue, giving away 75 % to the channel which wins the actual telecast rights. Here is more information related to this move of Doordarshan. 2) Although I hate to include this news in my blog, I feel I should - Australian cricketers are getting death threats when they come to the sub-continent later this year. This happened during the second final of the VB series and the top of list is Australian Captainnewsreader1.jpg Ricky Ponting. Here is more to this, but I suggest you avoid this. Its certainly not related to the game we love - cricket.

3) Australia has announced their team for the up coming tour of South Africa. They have included seam bowling all rounder Shane Watson and fast bowler Mitchell Johnson in their squad of 14 for the ODI series.
