Graeme Smith and Loots Bosman hold the record for bigget partnership in T20 Internationals.

The biggest partnership in International cricket is 624 runs, between Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene of Sri Lanka who batted for 157 overs non stop.

Well, T20 cricket is, as name suggests, just 20 over per side game and hence, we can safely assume above record isn't gonna break in this shortest format of cricket. in this version, anything over 100 runs between two batsman is half victory for their team.

Intrestingly, list below with biggest partnerships in twenty20 cricket has 7 opening pairs, equal to all other big partnerships for different wickets put together!

170 = Graeme Smith + Loots Bosman : at Centurion against England.. both batters had the opportunity to score that elusive T20 tons but they both failed, but they broke the highest partnership record never the less which was enough for their team to win the match.

145 = Devon Smith + Chris Gayle : at Johannesburg was first game of first twenty20 world cup in 2007. Chris Gayle went on to score the first ever century in T20 cricket. Windies set an imposing target of 206 but guess what? South Africans pulled skin off windies teeth with a win by 8 wickets and 14 balls remaining.
