Sky Sports are the official broadcaster of Ashes 2009. In a recent survey in secondary schools in England, asking children which sport they want to watch live on TV, cricket came at 21st position!

No doubt cricket is fast losing favor among youngsters of nation whose grandfathers started the sport but there's also no doubt when England vs Australia Ashes 2009 test match starts, world cricket fans will be watching.

US = has a surprisingly high cricket viewership, even though not very many Americans follow it. Thanks to Zee sports usa, Australia vs England Ashes 2009 test match series and following one day international series will be available in United states on pay per view basis.

Australia = has foxsports channel as their prime channel for international sports. Ashes test series will be no different. Another piece of information is Australian public service broadcaster = SBS, which plans to launch new channel in June to show Ashes test series live free to air in Australia.
