No doubt cricket is fast losing favor among youngsters of nation whose grandfathers started the sport but there's also no doubt when England vs Australia Ashes 2009 test match starts, world cricket fans will be watching.

US = has a surprisingly high cricket viewership, even though not very many Americans follow it. Thanks to Zee sports usa, Australia vs England Ashes 2009 test match series and following one day international series will be available in United states on pay per view basis.

Australia = has foxsports channel as their prime channel for international sports. Ashes test series will be no different. Another piece of information is Australian public service broadcaster = SBS, which plans to launch new channel in June to show Ashes test series live free to air in Australia.

New Zealand = cricket fans need not go nowhere, just switch on sky sports and catch Australia vs England Ashes 2009 live action.

UK = the host nation, has sold their TV rights to Sky Sports which means Australia vs England Ashes test series will not be available free to air in Britain. BBC and ecbtv.co.uk will show only each days plays highlights.

South Africa : has supersport as leaders and one of their multiple sports channels will telecast Ashes 2009 in South Africa and rest of Africa.
