Raina’s test career got off to a dream start when he became just the 12th Indian to score a century on debut, against Sri Lanka in 2010. But just after the Lankan series he had a forgettable series against New Zealand and was subsequently replaced by Cheteshwar Pujara for the South African tour. |
| ODI Matches |
Raina made his odi debut against Sri Lanka in 2005, but struggled to perform
consistently. After being dropped he came back in 2008 for Asia cup and made his mark in that tournament by scoring two centuries. Since then he has become an integral part of Indian odi set up. Raina is also a brilliant fielder and a handy part time bowler. |
| T20 |
Raina is an outstanding t20 player. He can win a game on his own. He became the only Indian to score a century in each form of the game, when he scored a ton against South Africa in the icc world t20 2010. |
