Charls Bannerman of England was the first batsman to score a run in test cricket, or in cricket as a whole. He was also the first man to hit a hundred, in the very first test match at Melbourne cricket ground back on 15 March 1877. Australia won that test match by 45 runs
The first ever one day international was a result of a rain halted test match in which first four days had been washed off and then authorities decided to play a one day knock out game of 40 overs each at Melbourne cricket ground on 5 January 1971.
Geoff Boycott made the first one day run
, although australia won that match easily by 5 wickets with 42 balls remaning, chasing down 190.
The first ever twenty20 international was played betwene Australia and New Zealand back on 17 February 2005 at Eden Park in Auckland and Michael Clarke made the first run after Adam Gilchrist had taken a wide and then a leg-bye. Clarke hit a six off next ball but was out soon after.
