BinitI suspect your question is regarding the batsman who has scored the most number of runs in one Ashes test series, and it's a record held firmly by Don Bradman of Australia, during Australia's tour of England in 1930, making 26 runs less than a thousand in all. Bradman then broke the record set by Wally Hammond just couple of years ago and English had traveled to Australia. Here's a list to summarise the story :-

KrishnaBradman made his debut in 1929. The 734 runs in 1924-25 ashes was made by Herbert Sutcliffe not the Don.
