At the end of world cup 2007 which was played quite early that year, Sachin Tendulkar was almost pressurized enough to retire from International cricket after India returned home from first round losing to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka but guess what, since 2007 unto now in 2011, Sachin Tendulkar has made the most number of centuries, taking tests, ODI as well as T20 in consideration. Mahela Jayawardene and AB de Villiers are surprizing name but Hashim Amla and Jacques Kallis have done extremely well too. Interestingly, Ricky Ponting has struggled in the time span. here's the list..

Most centuries between 2007-2011 so far
24 centuries = Sachin Tendulkar, 126 matches, 40 fifties.
21 centuries = Mahela Jayawardene, 190 matches, 41 fifties.
20 centuries = AB de Villiers, 166 matches, 20 fifties.
19 centuries = Hashim Amla, 94 matches, 32 fifties.
19 centuries = Jacques Kallis, 128 matches, 43 fifties.
19 centuries = Kumar Sangakkara, 182 matches, 48 fifties.
18 centuries = Tillakaratne Dilshan, 172 matches, 29 fifties.
17 centuries = Kevin Pietersen, 163 matches, 33 fifties.
17 centuries = Virender Sehwag, 124 matches, 30 fifties.
16 centuries = Ricky Ponting, 163 matches, 47 fifties.
