A total of 10 countries, 11 teams, have played test match cricket at international level. They are = Australia, England, South Africa, West Indies, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh. An ICC XI played one off test against Australia in year 2005 but that ICC idea has been scrapped now.

A total of 25 teams have played one day cricket at internationals. Not all of them were country as some of those teams were made up of mixed players. The teams are = Australia, England, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, West Indies, New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, Africa XI, Asia XI, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Bermuda, Canada, East Africa, Hong Kong, ICC World XI, Ireland, Kenya, Namibia, Netherlands, Scotland, UAE and United states of America (US).

A total of 17 countries have played twenty20 internationals. They are = Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Bermuda, Canada, England, India, Ireland, Kenya, Netherlands, New Zealand, Pakistan, Scotland, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies and Zimbabwe.
